Mac Eyeshadow Quad Ideas?

Hi guys! I'm fairly new to MAC, and I have a few questions about the eyeshadow quads.

I know that you can customize them online with whatever shadows you choose, but if I were to go to a freestanding MAC store how much would the empty quads cost?

Also, do you guys have any ideas for quads?

I was thinking about depotting my Satin Taupe and All That Glitters e/s into them, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to do that, or just have an entirely different quad.

I'm looking for neutrals that could easily be used everyday. (preferrably a matte highlight as well!)

For a Neutral Quad, I'd suggest Blanc Type, Texture (best crease color ever IMO), Expensive Pink, & either Espresso or Handwritten depending if you'd rather go warm/cool with the palette. HTH

Shroom, satin taupe, patina, handwritten

Vanilla, Brule and blanc type are good highlight colors i use them allll the time.i love cork,wedge,soft brown and kid are good neutral colors.

I think Vanilla is a really nice highlight colour. I also love Shroom, Phloof and Dazzlelight, but they're all more shimmery. I'd also consider nice matte colour for blending, such as Wedge, Kid, Soba or Soft Brown, depending on your skin tone. All That Glitters, Naked Lunch, Patina and Era are really nice lid colours. Satin Tape is my all-time favourite MAC shadow - great for lid, crease or whatever. Mystery, Espresso, Brun and Handwritten are nice darker colours for crease or outer v.

These are all great ideas, I recently just got one that has :

Dazzlelight, Soba, Wedge, and Sable...I am kind of regretting including Sable into this quad, seeing as how it doesn't really compliment my skin color and I could never see myself using it...ever.

But your feedback was extremely helpful...

Now I just have to refrain myself from buying another quad...
but just in case I happen to walk into a mac store.....any other suggestions? (;
What are some good combos? for the lid?
