MAC Face Charts featured in Nylon Magazine

Nylon's April issue had a page full of MAC face charts for Spring trends. I'm dying to know what products they used for them because the images in the magazine are so small you can't read the MA's notes.

Do you know where I can find out this information? I e-mailed MAC but we'll see what they have to say.

Any info would be awesome! (I'm obessed with Face Charts)

Nope, They are totally differnt. Well I'm assuming you're talking about the Papillion, Saturday Night Diva etc? The ones in the magazine are made my "MAC MA's all over the world" or something.

Thanks for the offer =)

I forgot to scan the picture last night, sorry. I did email MAC & Nylon but I havent gotten a response yet. I stopped by my MAC counter to see if they had any input on it and they couldn't tell me anything unless I was interested in one of the looks and they could help me figure out how to recreate it. It's true that there is a couple which are obviously Madame B. I'll do a comparasion between all my face charts at home w/ the picture and I'll let you know. Thanks for the look out tho =)

I emailed a MA to ask for the same thing!
Here's her response:
Hi Linda,

Thank you for taking the time to email us at M7A7C Cosmetics Online. I would be happy to provide you with the three looks from SPRING BACKSTAGE 2005.

The Spring Backstage 2005 looks were inspired by the Spring makeup trends seen at the International Collections. Go lush with the Papillon look. This look was seen at Boudicca, Baby Phat, Frost French, Elspeth Gibson, Blumarine and Tata Naka.

Start by applying SILLY GOOSE Veluxe Eye Shadow (chartreuse) to your entire eyelid using brush #252. In the crease of your eyes, apply FELT BLUE Veluxe Eye Shadow (cornflower blue) using brush #224. Bring the Felt Blue Eye Shadow down along the lower lashlines using our #219 brush. Highlight your brow bone using PINK OPAL Pigment (bright white/pink duochrome). Line your upper and lower lashlines with SMOLDER Eye Kohl (intense black). Smudge with the #219 brush. Add COAL BLACK Pro Lash Mascara for lush, eye-opening lashes.

Apply FANTASTIC PLASTIC Cream Colour Base (synthetic pink with pearly gold frost) to the apple area of your cheeks using brush #192. Highlight the upper area of your cheekbones using our BELIGHTFUL Iridescent Pressed Powder (gilded peach bronze) with brush #225. Line your lips with WHIRL Lip Pencil (soft brownish/pink) and finish with a layer of NYMPHETTE Tinted Lipglass (sunned golden pink) on top.

The Saturday Night Diva look lavishes attention on the eyes. This look was seen at D Squared, Raphael Lopez, PPQ, Carmen Marc Valvo, Ruffian, Costume National and Iceberg.

Start by applying GORGEOUS GOLD Veluxe Pearl Eye Shadow (low-light yellow gold) to the inner corners of your eyelids using brush #242. Using brush #213, apply the OLD GOLD Pigment (high frosted tarnished/gold) to the outer corners of your eyelids. Apply the COPPER SPARKLE Pigment (super high frost copper flecks) through the crease of your eyes using brush #224. Apply MULCH Velvet Eye Shadow (golden reddish brown with bronze shimmer) to the outer corners of your crease using brush #224. Sweep Mulch and Copper Sparkle under your lower lashlines using brush #219. Finish with ultra thick lashes by applying ALL BLACK Fibre Rich Lash Mascara to your top and bottom lashes.

Strong, contoured cheeks are a key focus in this look. Apply TINT Cream Colour Base (soft peachy brown with subtle shimmer) over your cheekbones using brush #192. For a rich glow, layer STYLE Frost Blush (bright coral peach) on top with brush #168.

Line your lips with SUBCULTURE Lip Pencil (nude pink/beige). Layer both FOIL Frost Lipstick (muted peachy gold with shimmer) and JIST Frost Lipstick (tanned apricot) over your lips using brush #318. Add a layer of ENCHANTRESS Tinted Lipglass (shiny peach with a pearl finish).

The Urban Tan look focuses on luxe textures and honeyed tones. Seen at Carolina Herrera, Bill Blass, Roberto Cavalli, Clements Ribeiro and Vivienne Tam.

Begin by brushing CLEAR Brow Set through your brows for a soft sheen. Apply WOODWINKED Veluxe Pearl Eye Shadow (warm antiqued gold) over your entire eyelid, sweeping the colour lightly up towards your brows using our #252 brush. In your crease, apply RULE Matte Eye Shadow (vivid orange) using brush #224. Using the facechart as your guide, line your upper lashline using BLACKTRACK Fluidline (solid flat black) with brush #208. Wing the liner up at the outer corners of the eyes. Finish with ZOOMBLACK Zoom Lash Mascara for ultra long, super lustrous lashes.

Add TINT Cream Colour Base (soft peachy/brown with subtle shimmer) to your cheekbones using brush #192. Highlight your complexion with the REFINED GOLDEN Bronzing Powder (soft golden tan) using brush #129. For a natural effect, apply it wherever the sun would hit your face (across your forehead, nose, cheeks and chin) and blend well.

Line your lips using STRIPDOWN Lip Pencil (nude golden brown) and fill them in using SISS Satin Lipstick (muted golden beige) with brush #318. Add a layer of ORNAMENTAL Lustreglass (shiny bronzed copper red) on top.
