MAC full coverage

I am going to be making a trip to the MAC counter sometime this weekend.
I need a full coverage foundation/long lasting for aging combo skin.

Any suggestions?

I just don't trust the people behind the counters sometimes

I use full coverage on special occaisons; my skin can't handle it on a regular basis. Full coverage is pretty harsh on it own. When i do wear it, I like to put smashbox's clear primer on my skin first, paint the full coverage on in dabs with the 190 brush, and then blend with the 187 brush. This gives me the heavy pigmentation of the foundation, but a lighter layer of product.

I can tell you that I hated Hyper Real. It has silicone in it (according to the counter lady) and I really tried to get used to it but it felt really heavy and mask-like. I ended up returning it and getting Moisture Blend instead. Now, MB is very sheer so you don't want that. I really like Select SPF15 but it's only medium coverage.

I use full coverage and there isnt anything wrong with it. I dont know why people say its harsh. Its noncomodogenic and acnegenic. It works well, its just heavier and thicker.

I only suggest full coverage when doing photography. Cause the light reflect off of it nicely and photos are better with it.

If you have oily/combination skin, try Studio Fix.

If you have normal/dry skin, try Studio Tech.

Both are lighter than Full Coverage.

You could also try Full Coverage foundation, but it would have a heavier feel. I had a MAC chat with on of the online artists and she said it's not sold in a lot of stores so you might wanna check your local store or you can purchase it online.

Be sure to moisturize beforehand!
