Why do the people at Head Office know nothing?
I called up today to ask when the up-coming collections are out and the lady on the other end said she didn't know, they only get that sort of information a few days before release.
Bullshit because I call head office quite often to get release date info and usually after a lot of "I'm just putting you on hold while I ask the supervisor/manager" I get the dates given to me a good few weeks in advance.
Does anyone have the realease dates for the minis, Who's that Lady and Lingerie in the UK?

I wish. I've had no luck finding out either.

I'm getting really fed up with how MAC treats us UK addicts. Prices are much higher, we never know when stuff is coming out but they can managed to publish (and stick to) release dates in the US weeks ahead, we don't always get every item (my counter hasn't got the Luxuriations nail varnishes and don't know if they're going to), we don't always get postcards and other promo material, our seminars and events aren't usually as good, there are loads of US exclusives that we miss out on (not to mention Asia exclusives that usually end up at Pro stores or a few stores in the US, but not here), the returns policy is so much stricter, we have no web site, etc.

I really think that MAC don't give much of a damn about their customers outside of the US/Canada and it's an attitude that's getting a bit old with me.

Actually, while MAC treats Canada better than it does the UK/Australia, we still get treated poorly compared to the US. The US gets exclusives we don't get, even though, more often than not, the products are actually made in Canada (which drives me insane) and as far as I know, we can't use the free shipping codes on the website that US gals can. MAC -- listen up, you say you're for all races, then be for all nationalities too!

For who's that lady, it just says December and January for Lingerie. Mini kits - december as well . . . no exact date though :-/

I think that happens with most companies. The company I work for has a bunch of lame brain so-called smart people working in head office, yet they know NOTHING.

Maybe it's a little consolation for you UK ladies: you are not alone!! Here, in Austria, we never get to know anything ... Whenever I ask some MA when the new collections will be out they always say, well, in two weeks or so, no matter when I go there and how long the collection has already been online or released in the US (which shows they just tell you something to keep you quiet, they obviously have no idea). So of course, as I can't walk to MAC every single day (yep, it's quite a pity, but I do have another life as well *lol*), I sometimes miss out on very limited things because no one is able to tell you when exactly things will be available. This really sucks here ...
For MAC, Europe seems to be only some peripheral zone ;-)

ITA with everything said. we still haven't had the cremesticks. they give us no resources, except from this new website that's coming out. MAC doesn't care much about us. A lot of other MU brands are the same, and it's disgraceful. Europe certainly is some Area 51 to MAC
