If it hadn't been for that mess of a foundation stick scaring me off I might have discovered all the other nice products MAC has a lot earlier.

I loved my studio stick! NW15 is my perfect tanned shade in those! but they are too expensive for not too much product.

I recieved Plink! l/s Thursday and didn't see it until today. I love it! It's such a gorgeous color and too bad it's gone off of MAC's website but not to worry people. It's still on Nordstrom's, Dillard's and Bloomingdale's websites.

I asked at the Cologne Pro store today as well and they haven't heard anything about ccbs beeing discontinued.

For the first time I could take a look at the tiny new pigment jars today. I miss the old jars!

Interesting... I'll be sad to see Studio Stick go - I loved it as a concealer-plus. I can always switch to Shu's Nobara Stick, which to be honest is probably better, but I think there's room for a stick option in Mac's line, so I hope they reformulate it. Likewise with Select Moisturecover - they need a concealer *like that* even if it's not actually that.

The Cream Colour Bases on the other hand are the underrated gem of the Mac line - I really love them, and agree with the poster above who said they'd not really been promoted properly. I wonder if they'll stay as Pro? The pro line has had a far better selection of CCBs for a few years now and they are still displayed prominently in my Pro Store. It makes sense - it's a versatile and useful product that isn't always the easiest to work with... surely the perfect candidate for a Pro product. Hope so!

i just ordered a pink opal from MP about two weeks ago and it was in new packaging. golden lemon isn't being discontinued, it's one of the colors that'll be available at counters next month... so i'm guessing that it would also be in new packaging.

I'm glad they're keeping Vanilla in the line.. but PINK OPAL..

Vanilla is more dupable than Pink Opal by far.

I don't have Pink Opal, but I do have Vanilla, and have very rarely used it.
It's a rather unremarkable color, and so sheer.
It might work on me as a facial highlighter, if I used that kind of thing, but I don't.
I wish I could convince myself that MAC is discontinuing these products to make room to make some really strong LE products (Trimmed in Pink lip pencil, for example) permanent.
That seems too good to be true, though ...

The only ccb with a triangle on it on the Mac Pro site is Antiqued Gold, which is also listed in the goodbyes section of the regular MAC site. I hope they don't discontinue all of them, I love my ccbs!!

my counter still has 20+ sticks of plink, i love that color and while i was working at the counter i thought it was strange how few people purchased it (even when i would talk the hell out of it, loving it so much)..

a lot of times they discontinue things and re-release them with a subtle difference (packaging, slight shade difference or reformulation, etc) like the pigments being in new jars. you'll also notice that in update books, where they list the working names vs the released name, sometimes they'll have the working name as something like "pink nouveau 02" or something.. which leads me to believe (taking into consideration the shade similarity) that it's the exact same shade with maybe one minimal difference. when the tone:grey quad was released, the update book listed the shade tone:grey's working name as something along the lines of "scene v2" and i swatched the two colors (scene and tone:grey) side by side and well... it was terribly similar. haha.

moisturecover is almost completely gone from my counter, save the darkest of dark shades.. it's really sad, that's the only concealer i've ever used that i feel completely satisfied with considering my skin type.

as for CCB's, i've asked around and everyone (at every counter in my area) looks at me like i'm crazy when i do. i've also gotten "noo... that would never be discontinued unless they made it a pro item. those are a staple product in ever pro artist's kit". so maybe as a lot of people have said, it will become a pro product. i certainly hope so, like i'm hoping moisturecover and a few of the other products, they'll come back around or stay accessable somehow.

i was told by an MA at a pro store that all blushcremes are going to be discontinued.

i hope someone can confirm that this is NOT true!
