Depends on what you want it for.
Loose blot is good for oil control, and it has no real color, per se.

I use the loose sheer powder on days where I want something light - I just spot conceal and a light dusting of powder. Looks very soft and natural.

I've not tried the blot powder, but I like the sheer powder because it gives an extra blended softness to my foundation IYSWIM...

I use the loose blot powder in invisible - it looks great on everyone to set makeup, I apply it with my kabuki brush

Loose (or pressed) Blot Powder is intended to disperse oil on the skin which essentially mattifies the face (thanks primarily to silica and mica). It isn't intended to give colour and coverage. It really has about 3% pigmentation. It does have some colour as there is such a large range of skin colours. What works for an N5, won't work for an NW55.

The Select Loose is intended to give a bit of colour and coverage. It doesn't contain ingredients intended to addresss oily skin. Well, it does have some (silica), but not enough if you have truly oily skin.
