I know SuSanne...that is gonna be my test because I SOOOO am a Quad Whore ...But I need to get control of this makeup spending...I have bought so many collections and I have not had a chance to really use most of them because before I get it another one comes out...I need to be more selective...so I am choosing 1 collection every other month and Style Black seems more original so I have to skip TMAC collection

I can understand you. I have skipped a few collections this year (Grand Duos, just one l/g from Creme Team, Naked Honey, Baby Blooms) and I won't shop every fall collection that will come

I have two big wishes left for this year: Makeup Art Cosmetics collection and the holiday collection

From Style Black I just want three items, including the VAE.

Yeah I skipped Grand Duos...all but one that I hate...Creme Team I bought 2 items (which I B2M), Naked (nothing), Baby Blooms (Nothing)

I only want the MES from Style Black so not to bad...

I am very weak...I tried so hard to skip CC but I ended up with 4 MSF's, 1 blush and 2 l/s...Yep so strong I am...That damn Allison enabled me and forced me to get SBN then it was down hill from there...But My mom kicked in a few items she always does and my dh got a few this week as well

But everyone hear me...I WILL NOT buy anymore Lipsticks or Lip products this year!! Unless Aloof comes along again...

Eesh! My wallet is hurting but... the texture is unbelievable that I couldn't resist even though the color is dupeable but the texture is too hard to resist. I felt like I just got botox on my face because my face was stuck like this ->

I picked up:
-unbasic white
-strike a pose

-grand entrance
-fashion
-style snob
-fashion groupie
-pink tinge lip tint

IMO, fashion groupie can be duped with satellite dreams. Also, style snob can be duped with Satin Taupe.

I agree...Fashion Groupie and Satellite Dreams are so close it's unreal...haven't tried the other ...But I love Satin Taupe so a bu with a better finish is always a plus

Geez, I'm gone for two days and come back chatty-thread-goodness!

So I started with two on the list and ended up with:

Smoke and Diamonds BU

I'm also suffering from Makeup Lovers Overload so I'm considering skipping the MAC collection, however Haunting is fluttering its lashes my way.

Before going to the store yesterday, I wanted 8 of these eyeshadows (Dreammaker, Grand Entrance, Glamour Check, Smoke & Diamonds, Unbasic White, Ego, Fashion Groupie, One Off) All of them are very smooth, but most of the colors aren't that pretty, so I only ended up with Ego, One Off, Unbasic White and Smoke & Diamonds. Also tried Molasses Pearlglide, I don't think it even deserves to be called a Pearlglide, no shimmer in it at all and the eyeliner itself seemed very hard, not smooth at all, with the color being an almost black shade of brown. BOO!

Style Snob and Satin Taupe are very much alike IMO. If anything, Satin Taupe appears to be only a teeny tad darker, but you'd miss that if you blinked!

I actually thought Style Snob to be a lot lighter and pinker in shade (as though it were satin taupe without its soft-grey-browny coat), If i blinked, i'd personally still see a great difference. XD I do think that they are quite similar though. The more swatches to compare it to, the more informed our guesswork is, I suppose 8D.

I drew my conclusions from the Love that Look swatch thread (by juicy415) ;D (i hope she doesn't mind me posting it here in the discussion! and if she already has herself, then i'll remove it from this post.)

Sweet Sienna is almost identical to S&D. They are close in color. Diamond Lil is identical to S&D. And Benefit's creaseless cream eyeshadow in Skinny Jeans is identical in color to these.

Definitely One Off! I'm a total purple lover and I couldn't even justify getting Fashion Groupie. Like everybody has said, One Off is unique, and Fashion Groupie is almost identical to Satellite Dreams.
