MAC Make up help!

Ok so I have questions about applying make up.

I've seen on many of the FOTDs that some of the girls have highlighters...I know that highlighting under the brow is one thing but is there such thing as highlighting with colors on the lid? or can you higlight in other places than under the brow?

and can anyone explain what contouring is?

highlight is meant to be used with a nuetral color that basically just attracts the light and makes the part pop out more in the case with under the eyebrow you would want to use a color that matches your skin tone a good one is shroom by mac or you can use a white shimmery color like sugar sugar by clinque.

Basically what you want to do is put the highlighter right under the eye brow this will make your eyebrows look higher and make your makeup look more put together.

But i wouldnt really reccomend using any other color then skin colored or white just beaucuse imo it looks shitty. haha for lack of a better word.
