MAC ma's...

Hello

I was wondering how often your MAC is restocked? The mac counter I go to is always out of stuff and they hardly ever restock- or sell out before I ever go. I didn't think to ask earlier when i was there. They had only 5 eye khols out of the 16 on the site. I was just a little dissapointed that i didn't get to try them out and they are always sold out. Hopefully I'm just hitting the store at unlucky times.

Its in a Foley's department store which is the same as ..Robinson's May, Lord and Taylor and Filene's. So i guess its automatic.. I must be really unlucky!

I used to work for Kaufmann's which is the same as Foley's etc. and we were on a twice a month schedule for our cosmetic orders. Which means You might get boxes more than twice a month, depending on how the warehouse divided the orders up but they could all be from the same order. So it ended up being a sporadic thing. But usually the first of the month and the middle of the month were when the bulk of your stock came. And the buyers would only place orders on certain days so even if you were out of eye kohls today that could mean you wouldn't have them ordered for another 2-3 weeks and factor in another 2 weeks to get them. Also just because it's out of stock doesn't mean it's automatically ordered. If they are alloted say $1000 to spend on your counter, they look at the fastest turnover rate, so some slower moving products might not get ordered right away.
