MAC Masterclass

So I hope this is the right area to ask this question, but I was able to get into the MAC masterclass and i was wondering how it works and if its going to be nothing but makeup artists and mac workers there. i'm not a beginner but not an expert in makeup so i don't want to be really out of place. If anyone can give me some info on what i'm up for that would be great. Thanks

I've only ever done one bridal masterclass about a year ago. There were about 15 of us in the class and one artist taking the class with one model. He did a whole look on the model, talking us through step by step, while we observed and took notes. You really won't know who the other people in the class are or whether they're MUA's unless you ask them. After the class was over, everyone went down into the store to buy whatever they wanted from the list of stuff that had been used in the class. Most people ended up buying everything used (me included) so don't be tempted to get everything because you can end up spending a fortune.

I'm in the UK though, so it might be different in the US.
