MAC Mineral Makeup

I was reading the latest issue of Shop, Etc. and it said that in July MAC is releasing mineral makeup. It didn't get any more specific than that, but it said that they were doing a new collection based on the popularity of a limited collection they had in 2004. Does anyone know what they're talking about? I wondered if it might be mineralize eye shadows or mineralize skin finishes?

I haven't heard anything, but I got excited when I read your post and at first I thought you meant they were releasing mineral foundation like BE. I bet it is more skinfinishes. They usually release them in the summer and winter.

I wonder if it'll be like the old Mineralize e/s (the big ones) which were released with the Rococo collection in (I think) 2004. I think Pleasureflush MSF was released with that collection too, so maybe they'll do something involving the e/s and the MSF's.

Yeah, Roccoco had the first MSF's and the baked shadows so hopefully it'll be more of that!!!

that would be interesting if they did do something like BE makes...then they'll bring back the damn 182 kabuki i didn't buy when i had the chance!

Hmm I have the MAC marketing calendar for the first half of 2006 including July and it only says:

Lipgelee Anniversary (WN) 6/29
C-Squeeze Anniversary (WN) 7/6
Nordstrom Anniversary 7/14

but there is still some space to make additions to that!

MAC mineral line...

i read in the April Shop magazine a blurb that MAC was realeasing a mineral collection in July--will there be a mineral foundation? Has anyone heard (**fingers crossed for a mineral foundation**)

Hmmm... if they were smart, they would come out it since they seem to be really popular right now. I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

Yep,. I would expect that it will include MSF's,.. Talking to my MA here locally and it will probably end up being a lot like Goldplay,.. we did not get a lot of info on that collection here and then it was like "BAM" and there it was,.. breaking your budget like strawgrass in the wind,.. So I will approach July with a nice little bankroll,.. so they don't kill me this time.

If you want mineral make-up just get Bare Escentuals! It's great!

i have bare essentuals but i'd like a better color choice & less of the shimmery finish like they have. Tried some of the others but nothing is as good as mac's color choice for matching me--would love to have that option in a mineral fdtn. I did see a pic of what looked like a msf on the zoozoom website, it's in their bronzer layout.

What I've heard is that it's not Bare Escentuals-types items, but mineralized eyeshadows (baked? not sure about this). That said though, I do like BE items and I hope MAC considers venturing down that road too. Hehe.
