i doubt that VAE is harsh, i love body shop's body exfoliators (most of them contain sugar), the particles of sugar can be big but as soon as water hits them they start to melt.
when i am out of money and cannot afford a good facial exfoliator i use almond oil with sugar on my face and it never hurt my skin, it actually feels soft and refreshed.

No, Missy does not look orange...just a nice peach

but, you can see it.

Pucker will look more sheer on, but yes, basically the color you see in the pot. They're all pretty sheer. Hot N Saucy has a little more color than the rest. I don't think you would be disappointed with Pucker.

True that...and you know you don't even have to use that much either! The MA that sold it to me told me all i need to do was place my finger on it like i was patting it and pick it up and just build it up up my face until it created a grayish lather. I did that exactly, and my skin stayed soft all night into the morning. Stuff is aweeeeesome, ladies get it even if it's the only thing you buy from the 3 part collection, it's worth it.

I've received most of my order/s from this collection and been playing with them for a few days. I love, love, love Pink Grapefruit lip glass. It is is such a flattering pinky coral for me. The other standouts so far are Magnetic Fields and Evening Aura. Magnetic Fields is so beautiful and non-lustreish. It is the perfect dark taupe and so versatile that I'm tempted to pick up a second one. It is pretty unique. I've been pairing it with Guerlain's Oriental Metal loose kohl powder (my favorite eyeliner in the entire world) and the two work so well together. It makes for a really hot and easy smoky eye.
I also picked up Spaced out blush. It is lovely, but nothing as incredible as Scatterrays, Black Ore, Magnetic Fields or Evening Aura. Just pretty, but doesn't have the pretty-wow factor! I'm still waiting for Femme-Fi and X-rocks in the mail. All and all, this is a great collection for summer. It isn't Heatherette or Barbie, but still has a lot of winners in it. I know neutrals aren't as exciting as the blues and greens of Cool Heat, but these are superb quality (VP!) and so universal, I think most people could wear these.

I have to agree with much of your review, though I didn't get Spaced Out blush or any Solar Bits. The texture on these is what makes them so nice. I did end up getting X-Rocks and was really surprised by this one, I really like it. It was so much more flattering on than how it appears in the pan, hope you end up liking it as well.

i'm sorry if that came off as harsh.

it wasn't my intent at all. i'm pissed too that its LE, but with a product with such an odd ingredient, they kinda had to start it off as LE. hopefully everyone that got it and loves it will email them and they will make it perm.

I got my VAE last weekend and after using it three times this week my skin has really been clearing up! I love scrubbing at night before I got to sleep so I can smell that sweet, sugary, earthy smell. It is delish! I am in LOVE.

i cannot get enough of this collection. i swear i've worn at least 1 of the pieces everyday since it launched. black ore is spectacular (i see why it has sold-out). i've paired it with both time & space and magnetic fields and it looks fabulous. it's not really that hard to work with. i've been using it dry. all i do is crush a few grains in the lid w/ my 239 and then press it on my lids. i get minimal fallout. i can see this jar lasting a long time. all you need is few grains per eye. i'm contemplating also getting bronzescape but it was sold out both online & @ the store. pink grapefruit is love. i've been using it alone & paired w/ pleasureseeker and it looks great. i could see myself being obsessed with this collection for the next two weeks (until cool heat).

ok so i'm still waiting for most of my neo sci-fi to get here! the pkg i ordered on may 20th still has not arrived! But the one i ordered on the 25th got here - problem is, all the stuff I really want was ordered on the 20th! What the heck!

But i did receive Pink Grapefruit & Naked Space lg and Solar Riche Bronzer. PG is awesome! It is so light, like SMMY said, it is a very nice coral - very wearable! Naked Space is okay, but a little too similar to Bonus Beat, which I don't wear a ton. Solar Riche is also a great bronzer- I've tons of Refined Golden already so SR is a good change..

I'm still waiting for my femme fi, evening aura, time & space, magnetic fields, spaced out, scifidelity, sunsonic, phosphor and VAE!!! And the rest of my normal colors I ordered! Boo! I guess that's what I get for living in Alaska!

I did not get much, but I did get Black Ore and Pleasureseeker lipstick.

Pleasureseeker is very very light- I would say that it is like a sheer version of the N collection on me- although the peachier base to it makes it nicer- it is very sheer. A bit drying too.

It is nothing like Lollipop Loving which is more shrimp pink with lime shimmer in it- PS is just a sheer peachy color- no frills at all.

Black Ore is totally amazing- I am glad I was able to get a bit of this stuff. I use the 242 brush wet/damp and no fallout at all. There is nothing I have that can totally dupe it except Too Faced Galaxy Glams with Gold reflects over it.

Still Black Ore has that extra OOMPH that nothing else has.

If nothing else, THIS is worth getting.

I'm still debating with Black Ore, but it was really hard for me to apply in the store. Hmmm....
