i agree w/ jpohrer, take samples of your makeup to take w/ you on the trip. this saves you from worrying about breakage or worse, lost luggage. trust me, it's not worth the anxiety when something wrong happens w/ your suitcase. i learned this recently when i came back from my 3 month vacation from the east coast couple of weeks ago. it was the first time i've had problem w/ my luggages that carried part of my MAC collection (first time i also checked it in due to the high security these days). with that, i'm never ever bringing full-sized products except l/s or l/g with back-ups again! it's not worth the agony and anxiety i had to go thru for 3 days thinking the airline lost both of my suitcases. mind you, i didn't even care about my laptop, or my new clothes, shoes and bags. all i could think of was my le/dc mac items! i couldn't sleep nor eat and i kept pestering the airline till they found my bags. now, i swear never ever to bring my makeup again. i have separation issues esp. w/ my piggies & msf's but the thought of ever losing them now makes me just lock them up in my safe at home. at least with samples, you'll never worry about these things... anyway, you have a great time on your trip!
