The M·A·C requirements for a PPID card make no mention of an age limit so I guess that did answer the question. It doesn't need to be state ID either - just photo ID.

You don't have to be 18. Just make sure the professional proof you send in is solid.

I know that one of the frustrating things for the stores is when mothers of "underage" PPID members come in to buy for them. The mothers usually have to contact head office (Toronto, I believe) to be able to buy product for their "underage" child.

True, but I read somewhere that someone was turned down because they were only 16. That was the reason they gave them when they called about it.

HI GUYS! how do you know if you got accepted or denied on the ppid. do they email you? mail you? thanks!

It took about three weeks to hear back but everything came through the post. You could email them if you have an application in progress but to be honest it's probably not worth hassling them unless you've heard nothing for more than four weeks.
