MAC price increase of 20% effective today??

Check out the new prices on regular MAC items! A full 20% higher and even more on the new collection that just came out today! Lipsticks, lipglass, & eye shadows are now 17.50 (18.50 for the new collection). Eye shadow quad x 4 (like the limited edition quads from last coll.) are now $43 instead of $36!

When I go on the prices are the same 11.00 e/s pan 14.50 e/s pot 14.50 lipstick and for the VV collection its higher because MAC had to pay licensing fees but its only for that collection.

Maybe you accidentally saw the canadian prices? I remember a mix up like that happening a while ago and it turned out that the prices were canadian.

Out of curiosity, I just went to the Canadian site and the prices are the ones you mentioned. But it's Canadian not US dollars.

Dang, somehow I did get on the wrong MAC website, which is strange since I'm never been there before, so the prices are as they have always been, except of course for the new collection. Sorry for the confusion.
