MAC rut

What are some cosmetic lines that have fallen by the wayside since you've become a MAC addict? Yesterday I was at my mom's house for Thanksgiving, and because I used to live there up until about 6 months ago, I still have a lot of makeup in my bathroom, none of it MAC. This morning I used my forgotten Senna foundation, my Benefit dandelion and Benefit gold eyepencil. When I looked in the mirror, I was like whoa, it looks "fresh." Anything you used to use a lot but have kinda forgotten about now? Its good to remind myself that MAC isn't the be all and end all of cosmetics.

i used to use drugstore-type brands... covergirl, maybelline, rimmel etc.

i will absolutely not go back to any of them apart from revlon because they test on animals. i do miss my maybelline mascara, it was brilliant and i'm yet to find a suitable replacement that doesn't cost too much.

also, since taking up the mac habit i've noticed that the quality is just so much better than a lot of cheapie brands. i still use other brands in conjunction with mac, but these days im more concerned with purchasing quality cosmetics that give me my money's worth.
