MAC select tint application

I have a foundation brush and the 187. which should I use to apply this? Does the 187 give a sheerer application because I think I will need a good amount since this is so thin, but I would rather build than apply thick foundation. Any application recs would be great.

I use a moist angle sponge and a 187 brush to apply select tint. It depends on the amount of coverage you would like. I used the 190 brush and I did get more coverage. I mix a little bit of studio fix fluid and select cover up in it to get a little more coverage.
