LOVE One of a Kind and Gem of Roses - those 2 and Geo Pink are the only thinks on my "for sure" list - I may get an MSF and/or and ME, but more likely a MSF :) Rose Quartz is the one I'm eyeing so far... :D

Wait, the MSFs are only 6,5 grammes? They usually contain 10 grammes right? I'm not liking that, that's pretty expensive.

Lord help me!!! Seriously after this I need to go on a NO Buy! For a month at least. No lippies no eyeshadows! NOTHING! I've been slightly out of control since the NYC IMATS.

Pretty and less glitter than expected. It's definitely more of a summer color. I'm still undecided, but I might pass.
I'm glad to see Christine noticed what I did about the new texture that is much better about hiding the pores than previous msfs. I wasn't expecting to care about Goldstone, but it was a great, wet-look bronzer. Plus, I thought it was a nicer brown for a cheek color than the brown blush in this collection that looked a touch drab.

Swatch and even face pictures of these MSFs are going to be tricky, because they're really well laid out for you to control the amount of darkness, sheen and even warmth/coolness you want in the color on your own.

O.k., you convinced me. Goldstone is back on my list. I agree with you that MSFs swatches change with each person, skin complexion, and heaviness/lightness of application, but I'm glad to hear that they don't emphasize the pores as much as the previous ones did (in a very unattractive way).

Do you think Pressed Amber will work well as a contouring powder? It seems to be pretty flat, which might be perfect for contouring.

I am, unexpectedly, liking Pressed Amber. o_o
It's a shade I don't own... but it might end up looking dirty on me, NC35. :\

Weird how i got a double post - so i edited this one:

One major thing to note about all the MSFs:
I tried them on with no foundation - just well-moisturized skin. Result: looked great. My MA tried Goldstone over his foundation, though, and I thought it didn't look as good. He blamed his skin, but I think these will not look as nice over heavy foundation, period - it sort of sucks up the wet-look sheen texture, which some might like, but to me sort of defeated the whole point. you'd be better off wearing these full face over a skin primer or a tinted moisturizer, if you wanted some coverage underneath, imo.

Pearl and Goldstone work for all over face application - evening skin tone and adding shine. Pink can do the same for cool tone gals, or if you want a cool toned highlight. It's a pinker, cooler and smoother version of Soft and Gentle, pretty similar. I didn't much care for Quartz - can't really use it all over the face and the color was not very unique. My least favorite.

Did you try the MSFs on wet as well?

Liba - this is interesting to me as I posted something about this in the Chanel thread about the bronzers etc. I have long noticed that bronzers & blushes look much better & truer color without any foundation - I have always loved my blushes much better that way.

I really wanted to like Pressed Amber, but there was something blah about it - like the color wasn't as complex as you might want. I would check it in a store and then probably hold off for the official contouring collection that someone mentioned was on the horizon a few months back in the early buzz thread -sorry i don't have a link for you for that :(

I will say it's pretty interesting to have wet shine MSFs and MBs with zero sheen together in this collection - might be interesting to apply the blush on top of the MSF, rather than the reverse, which I tried. This is a weird, experimental collection for sure!

Bawww, Christine only gave the lipsticks and cremesheen glasses a B grade, so I'll limit myself to one of each. Geo Pink for sure, but I'm still trying to decide on the lipstick. I'm thinking I won't be getting any of the blushes, but the Pearl MSF will probably be the one I get, unless the Pink one gets a good review too.

Hm... I like how Richly Revered looks.
But I wish it were in another formula, so sheer. :(

I agree. There is a Dior gloss that looks similar, plus the NARS shade that she mentioned. Neither of those is as thick a formula as a regular Mac lipglass, but I think they'd have more pigmentation than this one...

What are you cool fair toned ladies getting?

I'm really wanting gem of roses and feeling blush now after seeing swatches and reviews. Temptalia said gem of roses is warm toned, but it doesn't look overly so to me. It looks like something would suit me, so I'm getting it anyways.

I looked at the NARS one she mentioned and it settles into lip lines, not any better IMO. :\
But I think Richly Revered would look nice over a lippie and would give lips a juicy look...
