MAC Studio Fix Problem!!

I have been wearing Studio Fix liquid for a few months and I love it. I've started noticing that since the weather is changing, my make up is starting to come off. By 2pm my nose is a little oily and my make up looks kinda yucky. I use Smashbox Photo finish Primer. My skin is a little dry, but mostly normal. My nose just tends to get oily sometimes. Anyway, how can I keep my make up looking fresh throughout the day? I thought about getting the Studio Fix Powder, but I don't wanna keep putting full coverage powder on. I thought about changing completely to the SF powder for summer, but when the MA applied it on me, it looked really cakey.

Also my concealer comes off almost completely. How can I make it stay on without having to reapply it.

you can try with switching your base, like I've heard of the mac oil control lotion that some like as a moisturizer followed by your base and foundation and a light dusting of loose blot powder ( I say loose cus using the compact with the spongey thingy = major cake effect (esp. in summer)

but I dunno bout the concealer? I dun usually wear any sorry!

Would the oil control lotion dry my skin out since my skin is basically normal besides my nose area?

Few options:

Go for SF ontop of strobe cream for the summer so its not so dry or 'cakey'...

Stick with SFF and perhaps reapply with SF later on in day (buff in well with 187 brush to ensure it doesnt look too heavy)..

Stick with SFF and use blot powder (but this wont add any coverage) or slect sheer pressed powder that will help mattify and add a little colour..

To make it look fresh, consider Fix + spray or one of the charge waters (coming out soon with one of the new LE collections)...

See I have almost the same problem, only I have dry flaky areas on my skin, and after working all day it gets pretty oily. So weird. Thats with me using a light moisturizer and blot powder

I use studio fix powder though. It covers me pretty well but i have some bad marks which is why i'm searching for a new foundation. Why don't you try studio fix powder and use fix+ to take away the cakiness? Thats what I used to do.
