MAC vs. BE

If you check the BE thread above you find several comments and comparisons.

IMO they don't compare at all. BE is lighter texture and there for is not as intense as MAC.

i agree 100%

the only other loose powder that i use is makeup for ever - they have some pretty vibrant colors that are a lot of fun to work with

I agree with Nessa. I have both and the pigments are a lot more vivid and have greater pigmentation. There really is no comparison. BUT....I will say that you should not discount the BE shadows. I have several and really like them. They are good dry but amazing when used wet. There are soooooooooooo many colors to work with and the great thing is that when you use them wet and let them dry they are still blendable and easy to work with.

I personally prefer the BE Glimmers - sooooo pretty and more finely milled (I'm not a big fan of the 'chunks' in the more shimmery MAC pigments). I think the pigment is great, although MAC's is more pigmented. (Duh...'pigments' LOL). I'm also more partial to the shimmery look of the Glimmers over the more frosty look of the pigments. That's just me! I still like MAC pigments.

I love the BE shadows. I think they are just as pigmented as MAC. The shade ranges are different...worth looking at both.
