I absolutely <3 Up the Amp! In all honesty on my skintone it is the best violet/purple-family color I've tried on. I have Strong Woman, Voiletta, all the Taste Temptation mattenes, perky lipglass and some purple drugstore lipsticks but Up the Amp trumps them all. I'm happy it's permanent.I ordered another Mall Madness. It works so well with Up The Amp.

I was really excited about everything from this collection, but then my grandad was run over by a car yesterday evening. He's a vicar and was going home from a day spent visting all of his more elderly parishioners. I feel sick. He's been sent home from hospital, but has a ton of bruises, grazes and now stitches! The woman who did it just phoned up my grandma, said who she was, then hung up. Sorry to rant, but I'm so mad!

I can see her lip color through the swatches.....I base no decisions on what she says! Because, no one can tell me what looks good on my skin tone. Her arm swatches are better. But, If you check out The Makeup Box she has the perfect lips for swatches and she makes you want every lipstick!!!

My two favorite purples are Up the Amp and Heroine. I'm also glad Up The Amp is permanent. It works with my NW45 skintone so well.I absolutely <3 Up the Amp! Good gravy you ladies are right about exfoliating before wearing Betty Bright. I live in a really cold and dry place so it's something that can't be helped right now. It still looks beautiful, although I feel it would look a wee bit washed out if I go higher than NC 30. Although it could just be the lighting. I have to wait for the sun to come out to see it in natural light.

Ugh i squeeled with joy when i discovered two AG samples in my mailbox this morning. Been so jelly of you americans that can get hold of all the goodies already, its not released here until next month. Anyways! I got Caramel Sundae and Summer sweetheart, theyre so gorgeous! Especially Caramel Sundae, It looks so nice on my fair skin.
