NOT looking forward to looking at that champale model all night... its the first thing that comes up whenever i go to the site!

The hubby and I just ate dinner (the lasagna I pre-made this morning so I wouldn't miss out on this launch, lol) and we're getting ready to watch the bowl game. I'll be back in the office on every commercial break checking the MAC site! I have all kinds of crap to watch saved on the dvr and games to play on the comp so I'll be occupied and here off and on until this actually shows up.

This is the first time I've felt like this since the Stereo Rose fiasco...it's a sad state.

at least Stereo Rose was sold in all MAC stores and counters.

Hahaha I just took a big ol look at myself sitting on the couch laptop on my lap, with my snacks and water, blankets and my credit card in my hand....now all I need is some war paint and were good to go!!

Sur mehr and saffron you and me have a date.

Ugh. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to talk to MAC customer service to try to figure out what they're doing with this collection. I know that the Canadian site usually does their uploads around 9 a.m., so I'm not going to be too vigilant about checking tonight.

I also don't think I'm going to bother ordering on line, even when it does come on. For some reason, I just found myself massively fed up with Mac about this whole thing. If they want to do this sort of gimmick where they do a limited release, they might at least do their consumers the favour of letting them know what opportunities they'll have to purchase it. I was really looking forward to this, but the idea that Mac expects me to be refreshing my screen every five minutes in the hopes that I might be able to purchase something that I'm not even sure if I really want but am afraid of losing out on... Well, that just grinds my gears.

I love the excitement of new launches. I love going to the store on launch day to try out products myself, so that I can compare them to the ones I've seen the sites I frequent. I do not like the idea that shopping for cosmetics should somehow be stressful. So I'm going to go out on Thursday to my pro store to check out the Peacocky launch and if they happen to be one of the stores that gets this collection and if they just happen to have stock, that's great. If not, so be it. I'll make up a quad for myself from permanent colours I think I'm missing. Or I'll save the money for a later collection. Or I'll spend it on one of the other companies whose products I've been ignoring because I've been bouncing from one Mac launch to another.

I hope that everyone here who gets their items from this collection really, really enjoys them and I look forward to seeing what gorgeous looks you're able to come up with using them.

I will be beyond pissed if this collection isn't up and midnight and insted it goes up between, say 12:30 to 4:30 because I need to sleep before going back to work. What are the chances that this thing will be up at midnight? Has that happened before? I've stayed up before only to have a collection go up the next afternoon.

I'm hoping to get mehr lipstick, yash, and the quad. I do not own carbon so i was thinking this might be a good opportunity.

My new year resolution was just to buy Mac products that will be limited edition AND has special packaging to it and if i know imma really use it. I'm starting right after this collection.

i own too many makeup that i know i wont get to finish ever lol. so i decided to take it easy this year. Thank goodness i start work at 10 am tomorrow so i have time to stalk the site

Long time lurker but just recently made an account and decided to join in on the fun :) two questions: 1-does anyone know if the MAC Pro store in Orlando will be getting this collection? I asked an employee but no one ever knows anything at my MAC lol I thought maybe someone else may have heard something & 2-is there any reason why I wouldn't be able to use Back2MAC for this collection? I'm kinda counting on it...

Dear MAC,

How dare you treat your loyal customers like this. I have the worst headache right now from staring at my computer so worried about missing out on the 3 things I really want. I buy at least 1 thing from every collection since I started in MU. I hope you start to appreciate those of us who are loyal and spend our hard earned cash on your products.
Now, These fluidlines are on my screen but I cannot add them to my cart. Make some magic happen for me please!
