Magenta Blush

I just want to tell everyone to not be afraid of MAC's "Magenta" powder blush, which looks absolutely terrifying in the pan.
Since I like bold colors and own a big fluffy blush brush, I ordered "Magenta" sight unseen from the MAC website, and was astonished to find that, when carefully and sparingly applied to my pale pink-ivory skin, it's a lovely vivid pinky-plum, perfect for fall!
So don't be put off by its intensity ...

I love "Dollymix," too!
I agree that it looks somewhat scary in the pan, but on me(pale pink-ivory skin, green eyes, dark brown hair) "Dollymix" turns out a very nice wearable "strawberry pink."
"Magenta," on the other hand, is very purple and nothing short of terrifying in the pan, but if carefully applied, comes out a beautiful clear pinky plum.
