Makeup excites me!

I went to Ulta today and oh my gosh, they got so much new stuff! And they now carry NYX - which I had never tried before, but see that their shadows are used quite a bit in the Members FOTD area - so I picked one up. I'm going to have to go back and look at the NYX threads to see reviews and color recommendations.

Seriously though - as I was walking through Ulta looking at all the new lines and products I had to stop myself from just throwing random stuff in my basket. Does anyone else do this? You see a new product and don't even look at what it is, you just get excited and in your basket it goes.

But yeah, I was super excited about the whole NYX thing - I didn't have a lot of time, so I'm definitely going to have to go back and look at the colors more closely.

NO WAY! Ulta Carries NYX now? Did they have the whole line or just a few eyeshadows? The reason I'm excited for Ulta having NYX is because then I can use those 3.50 off coupons they always have. Like getting a free shadow!

not all Ulta carries NYX. i know for sure my local Ulta doesn't carry NYX.

I went to two Ulta's yesterday and one had NYX - the other didn't. However, the second one I went to was still working on a 'reset' of their cosmetics, so they might still be getting it. But yeah - they always have those coupons, plus you'd think that they would do Buy One Get One like they do for Milani and all the other brands.

I'm sure it was the whole line - I've never seen NYX before so I don't know all they carry, but there was a lot of stuff. A lot more shadows than I thought there would be especially!

Ulta is the best! I love how they carry EVERYTHING - all the high end stuff plus the drugstore makeup in the same store. Not to mention all the high end hair care lines, the small appliances, AND the perfumes!

I know! I go there at least once a week and I find that their stuff is actually fairly comparable to say Target. I mean, some things are more expensive, but cosmetics wise Ulta is always doing those great buy one get one frees.

i'm like that at the mac counter sometimes...i go in and see something and just throw down the cash for it, without really looking at it.

since i'm going to Target tomorrow and Ulta is at the same mall that Target is located at, I'll just have to check and see if they carry any NYX.

yeah, tell me about it! I bought makeup like once every 2 months before. After I joined this site, I'v been buying makeup almost every other day... how exciting is that, I got high from the new mascara I got today, I need help...

And it sucks when you have so much stuff the way it is and know you're never going to use it up - yet you feel the need to get that new eyeshadow that might have a fleck more shimmer than the five of the same color you already have.
