Makeup recs please :)

I'm thinking about buying some makeup for a friend of mine. She finally started wearing makeup, so I was thinking of getting her some. Any recs as where to help her start off? (doesn't have to be from MAC)

I started wearing make-up a little while ago...

I say, start with Mascara and Lipgloss (any brand i guess, but I personally hate MAC mascaras)...

Just some simple things :].

Probably very basic neutral stuff.

I'd go with Shroom, Kid and Satin Taupe myself.

My friend is starting to wear makeup too. We went shopping and got her a mascara (CG Lash Exact), clear brow gel, natural color blush and a shimmery beige eyeshadow

It of course depends on what kind of makeup she's been interested in so far though, if you know she is willing to try some colors, the MAC pigment in GOLDEN OLIVE could be nice to start because it's not too bold or intense. It's not so hard to blend the color either if she applies it lightly. And some black MASCARA!
