Anyway I need some make-up advice. It's difficult to find really good advice for darker girls. I'm caramel skin/chocolate brown, with dark brown eyes and black hair. I rarley use make-up coz it's hard to find make up that suits me. I'm really not good at using make uo at all. What colours should i use for eyes/lips/ and blush? Which foundation/concealer should i use? And how do i fix my eyebrows? they look fucked up. Plzzz help me out.

Welcome love,
Your question is a bit vague, cos makeup is a trial and error and so many factors other than your complexion can make a difference. Caramel and Chocolate are two different tones to me? Are you into bold colours, neutrals, or are you looking for foundation recs, lipsticks, etc? Do you have any makeup ie what shade in foundation and the name of it, an actress with your colouring, your face, eye, bone structure, age and on. It takes a bit of research to find what works for you as what works on one may look horrid on the other. Look around in the FOTD section and you'll get some ideas!

No, we can't help without a pic because "caramel" could be anything from NW35 to NC45 and "chocolate" could be anything from NW45 to NW60 so we have no idea what your skintone is so how could we make specific suggestions regarding foundation, concealer, eyeshadow, AND lipcolor?

We don't know what your eyebrows look like so how could we give you suggestions on how to fix them (e.g. shapes, arches, thickness/thinness, etc.)?

I recommend doing a search within this specific subforum and locating threads where favorite lipcolors, eyeshadows, eyeliners, etc. have been posted. That has helped me ALOT.

Or you could post a pic using the instructions that ReeseSilverStar posted!

Well hon, I really can't determine much from your pic, but to reinforce what Curly1908 has said, you're gonna have to just do this the hard way ( like all of us have, LOL) and peruse the boards; I mean, that's what they're here for! there's a WEALTH of info to be had on the boards in general, and more specific to us here in the Beauty of Color subforum. After we get to "know" you-so to speak, and are aware of your style and preferences, we'll all be better equipped to give you more specific help. Welcome, and get to searching and reading ( and posting)!

If you just want general tips for women of color:

Eyes:
Use a base (colorless or with a color). It will really make the color stand out.
Mattes are your friend. They may be harder to work with, but they're your friend.

Face:
Ask to sample foundation before you buy.
Highlighting is easier to do than contouring depending on your tone

Lips:
Line 'em to get richer true to tube color.
