Making The First Move On A Guy

What do ya'll think of making the first move on a guy?

I went out with him Saturday to the movies and to some friends house to chill. Then hung out with him today got a bite to eat and watched tv. But Saturday when he dropped me off i turned my cheek when he wanted to kiss me and said no, but not rude just in a "i'm not ready" giggle way, and he backed off. Today we hung out -got a bite to eat and watched tv. I could tell he tried to get close cuz he scouted over on the couch, and when he hugged me bye i looked in his eyes i really wanted him to try...but he got in a rush and said bye akwardly.

Any advice is welcome! Thanks!!

Well, I aggressively pursued my DH. He was a bit on the shy side and I made it more than apparent that I was interested in him. Matter of fact, I asked him out several times. go for it! dude, my now husband was so shy when i first met him. we met at work orientation and he was always trying to walk close to me and sit next to me. (it was quite funny actually) to make a long story short I gave him my number, I kissed him first, and I asked him out first. we married a year after that (July 23, 04) and have been happy since. he swears he has game (jokingly) but I had to hit on him or else we wouldn't have been together. hehe

go for it girl! he's obviously showing signs he likes you, and you like him so just go for it! you only live once so might as well... you have nothing to lose! AS pink_minx said, just kiss him on the cheeks fist if your still not too sure.... at least he'll still know your interested....

I'm with Jessica. My boyfriend is really shy and I knew for sure he wasn't making the first move. Of course I waiting until I was a tad bit drunk and then kissed him.

Since you told him y ou weren't ready, he may think that when you're ready you will approach him. So he may actually be waiting for you to make the move... just so it's not an uncomfy turn down do for him ya know.

YEah I agree with you guys....
We hung out last night and he put his arm around me and later held my hand, a bit of progress ..slowly..but it was so cute how he found his ways to get to me. At his house he asked for a kiss and gave me a TINY peck...i thought THAT'S IT?? lol......and when he dropped me off he looked scared..kissed my forehead and gave me an eskimo kiss, it was soo cute, but at that point i wanted to jump his bones with all the frustration...lol.. I'm gonna have to do something about this shy one..
