Male rapist?

I feel bad, because no one should be raped. I don't know if these guys are among the ones who talk about rape lightly and many take it just as seriously as women when they hear about so and so being raped. In some ways, I feel worse. Although women have to fight hard for people to believe they were raped, I think it's worse for men, just because even less people believe men can be raped or that it happens.

Besides, I've heard women, even women I know who've been sexually assaulted, talk about tests and such 'raping' them.

Ah that's terrible. I think there would be whole other levels of trauma for a man who was raped by a man. Just the shame and weakness they must feel, not to mention the violation. I'm not saying it's worse than when a woman is raped but I just think it is a lot more shocking for a man. It's not something they would ever think would happen to them.
This is also really scary because many serial killers start off raping other men. Gacey and Dahmer are two of the more noteable ones. That would have to be a very violent crime because I'm sure a lot more of a fight is put up. Very scary, I hope they catch this vile creature soon.

That's very interesting, I didn't know that about Gacy and Dahmer. As reported in the article, the rapist had a gun so I would doubt that there was much of a fight put up. I don't think the article mentioned whether or not the victims were gay, but this sort of crime has been occurring with some frequency in the Castro district of San Francisco among gay men

Not that there is a huge difference -- rape is rape, but it really is hard to imagine a straight male, a boy in his late teens especially, coming forward about something like this.. I cannot imagine how awful that must be. Say what you will about the double standard, but I think the humiliation would just be crushing for a straight young man.

According to the article it was done at gun point, so there wasn't necessarily a fight.

I feel sympathy for anyone forced into non-consexual sex by anyone. Male, female, gay, bi, straight, perfectly virgin, town whore, whatever.
