YSL False Lash effect mascara is GREAT! It's expensive but in my opinion, it's sooo worth it!

My lashes are naturally quite long though so I cant say for sure if it'd be as good on smaller ones!

I love love clinique's lash power mascara. it has a teeny wand that really helps to coat every single lash even in tight corners and they help to lengthen very well.

You need a good eyelash curler like Shu or Sephora's and hold it close to the base of the lashes and squeeze ten seconds...comb lashes and apply a mascara that lengthens with fibres rather than use a primer mascara (oh wow, do they clump, even the expensive lash primers!). Vibrate the wand at the base of your lashes, look down at the floor and wiggle your way up. Do the other side, repeat. The, tip the ends of the lashes so the fibres build up on the ends only. I used to use Diorshow, but it was not giving me the length, I have been using Fibrewig for a year now, and I'm happy with the results. It really takes some practice, and when you get good, its 90 seconds and out the door!

i love mac's plushlash, because you can build the volume without lashes getting that tarantula look. i also love maybelline (i think) full n' soft because to me it seems to be the drugstore version of plushlash.

volume exact by covergirl is good for a well-defined, volumized and lengthened lash, and bonus- if you love to use those rubber brushes go for it. i also have heard people adore l'oreal voluminous mascara but i find that throughout the day it gives me racoon eyes :-/. just my input, hope it helps, i figured i'd post since i'm in the midst of trying out several different mascaras currently

i found that a little offensive if you meant that overall asians have small eyes

for application, you should use a good eyelash curler. i find it that mac mascaras are good mascaras that can be curled after applying mascara. i get pretty amazing lashes by just lengthening and then curling them up. it makes a huge difference because stick straight lashes give the illusion of short lashes. my lashes look much bigger just by curling them after mascara with my shu uemura curler. i use one mascara for length and another for volume. i switch between plushlash, prolash and covergirl lashblast.

a primer would help too.

i love L'Oreal Voluminous mascara. like everyone else said, make sure you curl them close to the base of your lashline to get the fullest effect you can.
