matte browns

I want to help my mother buy some eyeshadow.
I could probably convince her to get four, but she hates glitter or any shimmer, she says it makes her look older

What are some pretty matte browns?

something light, and another darker one, and so on...

I like Handwritten, Brown Script, and Tete-A-Tint which are all from the Matte2 collection. You also may want to have a look at Embark, Saddle, Charcoal Brown, Soft Brown, and Espresso which are matte shadows in the brown family. Bobbi Brown cosmetics also have some really nice brown eyeshadows and make of half my collection of brown eyeshadows. Hope that helps!!

I have Espresso and Brown Down and I love Espresso for my brows and Brown Down is a really rich color that I use in my crease to bring out my dark brown eyes.

All the browns from Matte2 are great! Espresso, Charcoal Brown, Texture and Cork are lovely browns too.

I love deep brown pigment (Pro) but that won't help you any. My favourite shadows are Brun and Omega.

NARS singles makes some incrdibley chocolatey mattes. Blondie is a deep camel that also makes a great brow color for people with ashe blonde hair. Cyprus is a lighter camel that looks nice with it, and Bengali is a very deep chocolate matte that makes a deep crease color or wet as an eyeliner or brow color for people with dark hair.
Estee Lauder's Mink is an ebony matte brown.

I found a number of Lancome singles in brown shades that are really nice quality.

I wear a lot of deep matte browns-they photograph well-and I look for ones without a lot of red. People who like reddish and chestnut browns would like NARS NewYork, Lola Lola, and a few others.
