matte2 reccomendations please

hello everyone!

ok so far i have got clarity (which im disapointed in because its the same as electric eel!), newly minted, fig1 and poisen pen.
i love all the colours but i can't decide what else to get! sometimes i think it's enough but then when i look at the colours again on the MAC website i feel like buying them all...well not all maybe
blanc type,
tete-a-tint,
prussian,
post haste (does this look like passionate?),
pen n pink.. and maybe a one or two of the darker ones,

i have got loads from the permanent collection and im thinking do i really need this??
help me im stuck!!

I think Tete a Tint would be good! I just love the matte 2 texture that I can't wait to get more (I have Flourishing which shows up as a mossy green which I love and so easy to blend!). I'm looking at Handwritten--a brown one. Are you looking for a lot of colours? Prussian is such a nice colour but I'm going to wait for that til Thursday and see how it compares to the Antiquitease Colour blue mes duo.

I love pen'n'pink, it changes on my eyelid, and melts into place, gives that perfect light base. Since your skin is slightly more coloured, maybe tete a tint would do the same on you? It's great to have that base for a more natural look, or for the light-dark contrast!

i just gor poste haste and i love it , its a perfect pink colour and quite bright , the matte texture makes it different from other pinks x

is passionate similar to post haste?
i want to get prussian as well but not sure yet!

post haste is darker than passionate just like clarity is darker the electric eel. i got post haste instead of passionate because it shows up better on my skin tone than passionate would.. the same with clarity they r both very similar but if you swatch them side by side there is a subtle difference. the colors are somewhat "richer" i guess i wanna say.. but thats just my opinion..

thanks im contimplating whether to get it or not because i already have passionate. I guess i won't get it because i was really disapointed when i found out that electric eel and clarity are the same AFTER i purchased and used clarity

i have passionate already and i passed on post haste. i figure why have so many colors that are super similar. actually that's the reason why i pretty much passed on this entire collection. i LOVE the texture but the colors are boring or similar to something i already have. the only one that stood out as different that i want to get eventually is Newly Minted...but i'm in no rush even for this one because these are permanent shades. i say save your money for something le from the upcoming collections and put Matte2 on the back burner.

p.s. if you're that disappointed w/ clarity you can take it back as long as you have your receipt and 30 days hasn't passed unless you got it as B2M. hth.

thank you soooo much! i didn't know that matte2 is going to be permanent!!!
thanks a lot girl im going to find my recipt and see if they can exchange it for me. Last time i bought an eyeshadow i already had but never used because when i got home i found out that i have it so i didnt even open it. i went back less than a week later and they were checking it if it was used because they weren't going to exchange/refund it for me if it's been used

so im kind of worried about that.

i thought it said on the shade chart that poste haste was limited edition !!! electric eel has more of a sparkle compared to clarity, as does passionate compared to poste haste, i think the matte texture really adds that extra something!!!! im going to poste some pics later x

Tete A Tint is a great eyeshadow.

I use it when im wearing bold colors, i put some in the crease to blend with the highlight color.

And newly minted on the lid with stormwatch on the outer corners, omg! it looks gorgeous!

post haste in the crease with motif on the lid looks good as well.

I love Matte2!!
