aklshfklfh i hate all those shows. Laguna beach/the hills seriously gets on my nerves and i doubt i'll ever watch the maui one.

I hate this show. I refuse to watch this show.
I live on Oahu. My best girlfriend is from Maui (Lahaina). This show is filmed in Kaanapali (if I'm not mistaken). WE DO NOT ACT LIKE THIS. Hell, how is it that MTV couldn't find a single person BORN in Hawai'i?! How is it that (sorry if this sounds a little racist) everyone on that show is white when being a Caucasian is a MINORITY in Hawai'i and where the islands are the most diverse (ethnically wise) in the whole friggin' country (I believe Caucasians represent around 30% of the state)!?? They couldn't find a single person from another ethnic group in the whole damn island?!
Goddamn, and they play right into the Real World Stereotype! Playing a GAME to sleep with tourists?! WTF? Don't they even THINK before they act?! Don't they realize that they're REPRESENTING a whole state? Hell, I highly doubt that ANY STATE acts like that!
I can just picture it later when this show is even more known- those people will NEVER be able to leave Kaanapali without someone threatening to kick their asses... or worse- skipping the threat and going straight to the kicking of the asses.
