Melon Pigment

Okay, so last night I went to my local M.A.C counter, and ended up purchasing my second pigment. My first pigment was one that I could easily wear by itself as an eyeshadow (Golden Olive) and with a little black in my crease, it worked really well for a sort of smoked out eye that was a nice bright green with gold.

Melon is a little too pale with my tones. While I can do the same type of accenting in the crease with black (Carbon), it always seems a little harsh. I was wondering what some of you paired Melon pigment with in creating a look.

Any and all suggestions welcome. I'm considering going back to get Amber Lights to see how well that works with it. (Besides, that is one of my favorite colors that I don't have.

Melon looks really great with a nice shimmery brown like satin taupe, chocolate brown pigment, and twinks. Those are the ones that I like to pair with melon.

I use Melon with Rule, Motif, Coppering, and occasionally Aquavert if I'm feeling adventurous.

Melon looks great with Golden Olive, Chocolate Brown or Woodwinked. It goes with a lot more, but that's what stands out to me right now

I have Melon on my inner lid, Golden Olive on the outer lid and I lined with Cocomotion I think (a brownish shade anyway)

I've never thought to pair it with Carbon, eeep that might look harsh indeed!

It is gorgeous with Coppering e/s though, and you can also pair it with pinks & fuchsia shades.

I think Melon goes with just about anything! I bought it with Coco Beach, so I'll always love it with that. I think it also looks great with Steel Blue and Golden Olive Pigments. For eyeshadows, I like it with Bronze. I really need to play around with it more because I know there's a lot more stuff it'd go well with.
