i came across these loose powder shimmers the other day at the mall while i was getting my c-shock e/s. they are really interesting pigments and you can use them for like 8 different things like of course eyeshadow, but also wet as liner, lipstick, nail polish, mascara, blush, body shimmer and as funky color strips in your hair. when i can, i will take some swatch pictures of the ones that i bought. one of the things that you might get a kick out of is the fact that the shimmers are 100% mineral, hypo-allergenic, no fragrance, lasts for hours and no animal testing.

the website if you want to see some of the colors is www.micabella.com

I personally do not like them, they sell them in a little stand in the mall i work... so, one day i tried them to see if they were worthy , i actually tried the eye shadow/shimmer and i swear within 5 minutes i got glitter all over my face !! so messy!!! i didn't like it, plus it is very expensive...15 or 16 bucks for one of those?? and they are very little i would say is a little less than half MAC pigment.

i actually don't mind them. i still prefer MAC over them (of course) but i do have three colors from there. they're all very pretty and i usually only where them when i go out or something. i strongly agree with kaia tho. they are SUPER messy. whenever i use them i always have to put a paper towel down so that i don't get it everywhere. even when i'm taking the top off it gets messy.

Ugh, I was so turned off by how pushy the salespeople were. They would not leave me alone, and actually, I'm usually pretty good at being firm to pushy salespeople. And it's not just me, I found out! I Googled this company and found a few reviews and a couple articles talking about just that. That strategy alone just really turns me off from them. I haggled down to getting just one loose eyeshadow for $10, but I honestly was planning on getting a loose e/s anyway, so I figured I'd just try this one and then let them get off my back.

What really pissed me off though was they claimed they needed my driver's license number for my credit card transaction. I kind of tried to tell them that was ridiculous, as nicely as I could, but they seriously just took it from me as they checked my ID for my credit card. How shady is that?! I wasn't going to make a huge fuss about it but that did annoy me a lot.

I saw their counter at the mall and didnt like the whole thing
You can find colors like they have for cheaper, like at TBK Trading... and they are pushy, that's true! But the worst : they have this glass with water to show you that you can wet the powders, but the water is DISGUSTING!!! And I am sure they use this same water on people's skin

I own 4 of the eyeshadows and they are really nice!
The girls that helped my sister and I were very nice and not pushy at all.
They gave us a deal 3 for $30 and one for free.

There is absolutely nothing odd about checking ID when paying with a card. I'm completely baffled by how they'd let me buy things in the US even when the card was obviously not mine since it had a mans name on it (my dads). Seems like heaven for pick pockets. Just steal a card and shop all you want.

Here there are two options: Either show ID or enter your PIN number in the terminal, if they have one of those.

Obviously this is for your own protection.

Nah, they wanted to see my ID of course, for my credit card, but in addition to that they insisted on writing down the ID number of my driver's license. I absolutely have never had anyone do that. Usually people just glance at your picture and match up the names. But they actually wrote down my license number for some reason.
