Hi girls!! I've been so busy with the holidays then class starting, but when I saw the pink/green MAC Barbie look I had to try it! You all know I love being girly, and nothing's girlier than Barbie! haha This was a challenge for me, due to both a lack of skill and a lack of materials. It was also the most complicated eye I've ever done. The green lids were Sun Sparkle then Seafoam Covergirl eye enhancers, with Golder's Green MAC pigment over it. The crease was Covergirl eye enhancers in Aubergine Queen then Shimmering Onyx. The highlight was Pinked Mauve MAC pigment and a silver from Bonnebell's Girly Pinks quad. I used Too Faced Liquid Lavagloss Super Black eyeliner with Maybelline black liquid eyeliner over it to prevent smudging. Bourjois Coup de Theatre mascara and Covergirl soft brown brow pencil finished up the eyes. I tried overlining again with my Sephora Whirl lip pencil, and covered that with my Wet'n'Wild Megaslicks lipgloss. Covergirl TruBlend in Classic Ivory foundation, some brown powder for contouring, and ta da! The thing I couldn't really substitute anything for is the fuschia blush in the MAC pic, since I only have Maybelline Sweetheart Rose for blush, and not nearly enough pigment to want to waste it on my cheeks!
What do you girls think? I'm always grateful for advice and criticism, of course!
