Hi girls! *hugs* I finally graduated, so today I dolled myself up for work more than usual. I had no time to take pics before I left, so I touched it up when I got home. I used a lot of new items because two great friends recently sent me care packages!
For my eyes, I used three shades of eyeshadow from the Milani quad Mad About Magenta. Also my usual Too Faced pencil liner and a new mascara I LOVE! It's Milani glitter glamour. There are several kinds, but they're all a base coat with a sparkly top coat! Today I used Day to Night, which is black base with clear sparkly top. Now that I've used it once, I'll know to apply it to the top of the lashes too next time. It's like fun false lashes with none of the trouble. My old blush was running out, so today I tried my new MAC Pinch Me, which is REALLY dark! I was quite surprised. The first time I applied to this morning, I piled it on the brush like I did my old blush and it was WAY too noticeable. I had to remove it and try again very lightly. I'm still a bit worried about how dark it is. What do you girls think? For my lips I used Lancome Le Rouge Absolu in Bordeaux. It's pretty bold, but I'm really trying for bolder lips lately. The gloss is a clear NYC liquid lip shine with sparkles.
And to show off my nails (which I'm amazed haven't broken yet)-
So what do you think? Are the bold lips and blush okay? Any other criticisms? I personally think the application is a bit uneven due to the fact I reapplied the shadow after it faded a bit at work, and the blush was just hard because I've never had to worry about it being that symmetrical with my old lighter blush. But I'll keep practicing!
