Has anyone had pro micro done to get rid of scars? Can I hear about your experence? While I don't want to go to a pro to get it done I was thinking of using the at home Neutrogena Body Microdermabrasion system to see if with prolonged use it will fade the scars on my arms...any thoughts?

I know at least ONE lady has had this done on here or know of someone who has had this done. Maybe someone who has used the at home Neutrogena Microdermabrasion system for body?

I don't know if this will help, but I purchased this kit by Prescriptives (I can't find it online) that cost me $125.00, it made my skin feel pretty good but it made no difference on the dark spots (from a burn).

I'm hoping to someday soon be able to afford, if the doctor thinks it will help, a chemical peel.

I've gotten one from the drugstore before, and I don't remember which brand, but it worked really quite well. I'm thinking of buying one with the actual spinny-brush thing.

The only difference between the salon version and the at home, is that the at-home ones are more gentle, because its only legal to put "X" amount of treatment in the over the counter products.

So if you have sensitive skin, at-home would be better, but if you wanted quicker and longer-lasting results, I'd go to the salon. Hope that helps
