Hi!
Supposedly, mineral make-up is a lot better for your skin. The ingredients are more natural, and it tends to cause a lot less breakouts, and in some cases, prevent them!
It also lends a more natural look than most conventional make-ups while still providing adequate coverage (for most). I require a lot of concealing work and have red spots which I need to cover, so my process is a bit more involved than most. If your skin is basically good, mineral make-up helps it stay that way or makes it better and takes a LOT less time to apply - once you get the hang of it.
It can be quite a costly process figuring out your best match and best company if you're just crazy like that (like I am) because, while most mineral make-up companies offer cheap and/or free samples, you tend to get obsessed about finding your "perfect" shade as opposed to just something that "works."
Ummm.. okay, did I just prattle on?
Benefits: better for your skin, more natural look, quicker application process (for 'normal' people)
Did that help at all?
Also, I'm supposed to be working on a tutorial today, and I will include my mineral make-up application, so once I get it all done and posted, you can see how concealing with MMU works.
