Mineralized Skinfinish Duo vs. Mineralized Skinfinish Natural

I just tried the Mineralized Skinfinish Duo in Medium Light and it's the perfect shade for my skin and makes it look better without being obvious. Alas, I don't really need the shimmer part. Is it safe to assume I will like the Mineralized Skinfinish Natural equally? Which colour do I need, Light or Medium? I can't go back to the store because it's an hour drive, so I'll have to order online. And last but not least, which brush would you suggest to apply the stuff?

Thanks

You won't need to choose between the Light and Medium of the regular MSNF because there's a Light Medium shade. I assume that's the same as "Medium Light".

I would suggest the 182 brush to apply it, but it depends on what you use the product as. Personally, I use the MSNF just on its own to help even out the skin, so you would need a heavier coverage, and the 182 would be good for that. I have also heard that the 134 paddle brush is good for the MSNF's. HTH!

they are the same product and the shades are the same.

i use mine alone too, just to even up my skintone a bit. i hate foundation, so this works perfectly for me. using different brushes gives you different coverages. using a fluffy brush like the 150 gives you more of a sheer coverage, while using a denser brush like the 182 gives you more of a medium coverage. it all depends on what kind of coverage you're looking for.

Weirdly, I found that to be true for maccosmetics.com, but the German website only has five shades instead of eight, so no light medium

they might be long term out of stock on the light medium. when this happens, they sometimes remove it from the lineup. if you have a customer service number you can call to order from, they might have the light medium.

I noticed that the MSF Duo in Deep Dark gave me this orange tint by the end of the day so I returned it. I decided to try the MSF Natural in DD instead and it's like a totally different face. I think that the shimmery part of the duo was too close to the Natural part and even though I tried to use only the natural side of the product it was the shimmer that made me orange. I'm loving the regular version of this product.
