Mini Tour day one (picture heavy)

Here is Day one of the Mini Tour. Here is again Destrehan Plantation in the daytime. Looks totally different in the day doesn't it. Here are a small sample of some Mardi Gras costumes and the Treasure Chest Casino. All of these places are just out out of the Big Easy. I cut down on the pictures of the gowns. I figured people would get bored with that. I hope you will enjoy. Sending love to all from Louisiana.

Wow, fun costumes. Those are some head dresses and tail feathers.

I heard they weight a lot. They don't throw the coconuts from the Zulu parade anymore. People were getting hurt. So, they say. hmmm. I never had a coconut thrown at me. I had a Bible thrown at my head. LOL

I love the color combos.

Thanks so much for taking the images and sharing them with us, this is really amazing. I just can't help but image my self at a mardi gras festival when everyone is all dressed up in those amazing and gorgeous costumes... so much fun!
