mixing your own shadows/lipglosses

i don't know if this is the right place for this...but has anyone ever mixed their own eyeshadow or lipglosses? i used some MAC pigments and crushed up a couple old shadows and mixed them all. i used MAC Blue Brown pigment, MAC Deep Purple pigment, MAC Maroon pigment, MAC Lovely Lily pigment, MAC Rose pigment, some random Icing shadows, one was pale purple with silver glitter and the other was a light green with silver sparkles in it. here's what it looks like with and without flash, respectively:

I did that with some lipsticks that I didn't like and used an old eyeshadow palette to put them in. I don't have pictures because I used it all up though.
