I'm fairly dark and a lot of colors don'tshow up well on me, so I rely heavily on shadesticks, especially with blue colors. I use the Sea me shadestick or Blue Peep fluid line as a base before applying blue shadows and sometimes it even helps bring out greens. I use it under Swimming to make it more vibrant.
And I LOVE blues. A lot of people are afraid to use darker and more vibrant blues because it looks like its overwhelming the face, but I love it for daytime and nighttime, I just like to have fun with it.
