MSF & 182 Questions/Advice needed?!

Hi All,

I'm N15 (been told I have olive undertone - but I see more yellow), Dark brown hair, brown eyes - with often rosey cheeks.

I don't like the look of heavy blush (because of my rosey-ness) - I perfer a soft natural glow - with little to a small amount of colour.

I'm wanting to venture into MSF as I wear matte foundation and need to brighten my face/cheecks up a bit.

Which MSF would you recommend for me? I've heard positive things about Soft & Gentle but I haven't seen it in person.

Also, I've heard really good things about the 182 brush - Can I use this to apply the MSF or just to buff it out?

I want to achieve that whole "glowing flawless natural skin" look that is everywhere!

Thanks in advance!

For a MSF for your complexion, I would go for Porcelain Pink from Colour Craft since it will make your cheeks glow. I would apply the MSF with the 187 brush and buff it out with the 182 to give you the perfect soft glow. Hope this helps you.

I agree with the Porcelain Pink, or if you can still find it, Perfect Topping...but I'd use a 109...you can apply the MSF and buff it out with the same brush. It's the only brush I use for my MSFs.

182 is a great kabuki brush, but i find it too big for application of blush... so i leave it for buffing.

as for a blush-like msf, i recommend porcelain pink as well. smooth merge is also pretty imo.

perfect topping will be a great highlighter for you.

I would go for Perfect Topping and in lieu of that, the Porcelain Pink -- make sure you apply with a 187 or 183 and if you want to use the 182 use that one for buffing... it doesn't make a great applicator as it is too thick.
