MSF & beauty powder?

i don't have either of them & want to get one, but am so unfamiliar with how they apply & what their actual purposes are. can someone explain them? i wear blush already but want something to highlight and give my face a softer/glowy overall look. i'm also not sure on the shade i should get..there are so many and some of them look so similar (i'm NC35).

any help would be appreciated!

They can double as highlighter/blush depending on the colour... and the finish really depends on which MSF you get, some MSF's can be quite glittery with little colour payoff =S
I personally prefer the beauty powders just because they don't have the huge chunks of glitter in them =)

I also prefer the BP's (I have only tried New Vegas and the two out with N, but I just don't like the glitter chunks in them, I like the sheen of the BP's better). They just oomph up my blush, and Pearl Sunshine I can wear as a light bronzer (its a peachy color). The Barbie ones are gorgeous, but I'm pretty sure BP's are limited edition only, none in the regular line. I bet there are new ones coming out soon though.
