I need some help on what to use Mulch with. Yesterday I wore Mulch with Tempting and Rose Blanc as a highligher and it looked muddy on me. It looked horrible.

Can anybody give me some recs on what to use Mulch with? BTW... I am NW25 with dark brown hair and almost black hair.

Thanks in advance.

Hmmm I use Mulch all the time, it never looks muddy on me? Maybe try it with a coloured base?

I'm thinking maybe the combo with Tempting made it look "muddy" on your skin tone? I would try it with some soft pinks maybe, or a colored base as opposed to a "neutral" one and see what happens. I don't have this problem with Mulch, so I am at a loss here!

I like to wear Mulch w/ Night Light & Golden Olive the most (both pigments)
I hope that helps =D

I think Mulch makes a great smokey bronze/brown eye. I love to pair it just with Shroom. Or add another lighter bronze. HTH

I absolutly LOVE mulch e/s, actually it is my fav color of the moment. I pair it with All That Glitters a lot and it looks gorgeous, at least to me! Esp with Vanilla pig to highlight. But I think you have to use a shimmery base like baselight paint or stilife paint to get the shimmery color of mulch e/s to really stand out. By the way I have NW20, light like you, so work on it and i'll be surprise if you dont fall in love with this e/s.

I love mulch. I reach for it pretty much everyday. Here are some of my fav combos:

Mulch in outer V
cosmic inner V
firespot in crease
Stila Starlight on brow

Mulch in crease & outer V
Shroom as a wash

Mulch in crease & outer V
mythology on lid
Ricepaper to brow

Good luck with it. I hope you can make it work. It would be such a shame to not give Mulch some love!!!

Try Mulch in the crease and outer V with some lighter shades on the lid.

Era
All That Glitters
Shroom
Rice Paper
Brule
Retrospeck
Amber Lights
Jest
Naked Lunch
Honey Lust (Only if you like lustre finishes though)

i like to boost the color of mulch with some reddish-brown e/s like antiqued or beautyburst if say i use it in the crease area. mulch alone does not show up good on me.
