I'm an NC50 and I just bought a DREAM MATTE MOUSSE in SOFT PLUM. When I got home to try it it looked so pasty and white on my skin with big chunks of glitter. I was disgusted and dissapointed. I really don't want to throw it out because I spent like 5 dollars on it and it's still full. but I feel like i have no use for this pale pink tone. If it was a powdery form maybe I could it a eyeshadow but it's a mousse. Any recommendations on what it would be good for? Or does Target allow refunds on used makeup?

If something does not look good on me I give it to a friend or leave it in the bathroom at work. I have bought tons (literally, if it was weighed) ugly makeup in the past (yes, including MAC), and I have left it in bathrooms.
If it doesn't look good, don't wear it....we don't have Targets here on the island and most stores don't touch used products, but chances are some friend might look gnarly or some homeless person might be happier for the moment. Very gentley used products can find a good home.

^^ITA. When you just feel like a product is too much of a pain, give it to someone who might find it a blessing. Leaving it in a bathroom at your workplace with a little "free to a good home" Post-It note works!!

I know walmart allows you to swap if a shade is not correct for you, so it may be worth trying this with target. Otherwise, maybe still give it a try as an eyeshadow - they make dream mousse eyeshadows of a similar consistency.

well, if all else fails, it could be a paperweight? LOL

I would give this to my daughter to play with, barring that, "a free to a good home sticky" in high traffic area at work should do the trick...

I use my dream matte mousse foundation as an eyeshadow base and it works really well! You can do the same with the blushes as well actually. It works great with pink e/s.
