is he not a marine?? because my bf is a marine and i know you gotta wear your blues or the ugly green ones to the ball. so were you guys just there as guests of someone?

No, he is a Marine. He was in for 9 years,then got out. Then, in May one of his friends was killed in Iraq, so he re-enlisted and was sent to Iraq in 3 weeks. Then, they got back in less than a month before the ball. He didn't have a uniform, so he told his 1st Sgt he wouldn't come, but they said come anyway. So, he went in a suit. Brian always gets his way in hte Corp, no one will tell him no!
