My broadband internet died - don't you just hate it when that happens?

My ADSL connection died on 3rd January (which is why I haven't been on here since then). I am told it will be working again on Tuesday.

In the meantime I've been tearing my hair out with dial-up and avoiding sites with lots of pictures. Arrrghhhh! I feel lost without a proper internet connection! I can live without a television or even a telephone but I regard the internet as an essential.

Does anyone else feel the same?

If you are with Bulldog, good luck. It took them 8 days to fix some broken wire in the pole outside my house. My landlord was on holidays in Jamaica too, fantastic. So I had to deal with the whole thing and keep missing lessons because they always said "a BT ingeneer will go tomorrow!"
