My brother is missing

Hi everyone,

My older brother, who suffers from autism, is missing for 24 hours. He is being treated in a special center and has escaped before and went to my parents house. Now he is missing for 24 hours and we haven't heard from him since. I hope he is allright and is not hurting anyone or himself, he can be dangerous if something goes wrong in his head. My bf says he is probably fine, but I'm worried!

He has my address, but I haven't seen him around here and no one has heard from him. My parents called the cops, but we don't hear anything. My brother is older than I am, but in reality he thinks like a child + the fact that he has autism. I hope he is allright.....I will let you know if I hear anything.

I just called my parents, still nothing. We are keeping my bf's cellphone on tonight, I told my parents to call me if they have any news. Maybe he is just doing this to upset us, he was acting weird 2 weeks before all of this the people from the asylum (if you call it that) told us this. But it's so weird, they let him walk the streets but he should be closed up. When he was still living at home (and I was too, I now live with bf) he once chased me with a knife. I don't know what would have happened if my dad and bf didn't stop him. After that, the police took him away to the asylum where he has been for a couple of years. 9 months ago he escaped and took the train to my parents, they did not know what was happening when he rang their doorbell. The police took him back but it's different now. My mother in law says that perhaps he is staying at a hotel but you have to show ID there and I don't think he has his with him. Hope he turns up fast.

aww I'm sorry to hear this. I went through somthing similiar. My nana has dementia and one day just walked out the house. She was missing for almost two weeks.
I'll keep your fam in my thoughts and just stay positive.

My mom works with mentally challenged adults, I feel your pain wondering if they are safe and what is going through thier heads and sometimes people can be too smart for their own good. But know that the Lord is with him, I am sending up prayers from San Diego for his safe return.

Still nothing! Kept the cellphone on all night, my mom called the police again, nothing. He is missing since Friday afternoon now. I couldn't sleep at all last night, I'm constantly thinking where he might be but I have no clue.
