My counter interview procedure

I submitted my application mid July on a Monday and met the counter Retail Manager who offered me a demo interview on the spot.
My demo was the day Technakhols and Plushglass were launched. I was dressed very well in black trendy clothing, shoes, and chain jewlery. I had my hair up mohawk style. My makeup was fierce w/large feather like lashes. I wore Bright Fuchsia, Fuchsia, Maroon, and Coco Beach pigments on my eyes, Slave to Love w/Petticoat blush, and Sweetie Cake gloss.
The manager complimented me several times on my look. I was feeling so confident.

She explained to me what she was looking for: foundation, at least 3 e/s, 3 lip products, and blush. The rest she left up to me. She made me feel completely at ease.

She laid out 266, 239, 213, 190, 129, 242, 150, 217 and 224 brushes, pencil sharpener, qtips, mascara wands, and lip wands for me while I went to pick out shades and foundation. I sanitized my hands, sharpened all pencils, and scooped out fluidlines, prep+prime eyes, concealer, and paint.
Throughout my demo, I did a lot of joking and laughing w/my model. I only saw the manager twice. She was very discreet and never looked over my shoulder or stood anywhere obvious. Her whole attitude was very relaxed and at ease which in turn made me feel the same.

After the demo, the manager asked me to explain the look and what products I used. I was very detailed in telling her what I used, how I applied it, and with what brush. She was very impressed and said, "Wow, very nice."
She said that she would love to have me on as permanent and would have to wait until her hours were secured before she could offer me anything. As I walked away, I heard her to say to the other MUAs, "She did wonderful and is very nice."

I got a call two weeks later from the 3rd key manager asking for a face to face interview w/her as well as the counter manager. I did my hair and makeup fierce again and they were both impressed the minute they saw me. The interview was very easy and fun. The manager asked me very few questions. She was mostly interested in getting to know me. It lasted probably 20mins. I could tell that both managers were very interested in me. They kept smiling the whole time. It was more of a hangout session than a job interview. I wanted to jump up and hug them both after the interview. It was great and I was so overwhelmed w/joy. :teehee:

The manager said she'd call me as soon as she got notice of available hours. A few weeks later, I was out of town and got her call. I could not stop screamming. :cartwheel:
I am an official permanent MAC employee.
